Dynamics GP New SafePay File Feature

In October 2021, Microsoft released a series of updates for Dynamics GP in order to make the platform more user friendly. Moreover, the main goal of these updates is to make the software more efficient and comprehensive.
Included in the series of updates was a new feature when generating a SafePay file. Now, when a SafePay file is being created, the Payee Name field will be filled using the employee name that is presented on the actual payroll check rather than using the name listed in the employee master record fields. This change was made to ensure information provided to the bank is accurate and minimizes the risk for fraudulent activity.
This new feature should definitely make it easier for users to upload SafePay files to the bank!
