Adding ‘Carbon Copy’ Users to Emails in Dynamics GP
Posted on: March 21, 2022 | By: Jim Bertler | Microsoft Dynamics GP
Although businesses today are more often than not choosing to integrate cloud-based software into their organizations, Dynamics GP still remains a respected, reliable solution. In fact, Microsoft confirmed that it is planning on supporting GP users until at least 2028. Evidence of this can be seen in the series of updates for Dynamics GP that came out at the end of 2021.
Today we are going to take a closer look at one of the specific new features.
Now, users can add ‘carbon copy’ users as recipients for emails pertaining to workflows, such as when the workflow was submitted, approved, rejected, or delegated.
In order to set this up, you need to go to the Workflow Email Notification Maintenance window.
This is a useful feature for when you have managers that would like to be copied onto workflow emails in order to remain aware of business processes. It makes adding people into email threads simple as well as removing people who no longer desire to be copied onto the workflow messages.
