Acumatica R2 is here, and with it tons of new updates across AI and changes to the User Experience. This release focuses on helping businesses work faster and more intuitively. This includes streamlined dashboards and customizable layouts to AI-driven automation and built-in analytics tools. In this blog, we will cover four new additions that will change how your business uses the ERP.
Redesigned Layout and Dashboards
Acumatica’s newest updates unlock a whole new User Experience, with a cleaner layout and personalized dashboards. The ERP has a smoother feel and the redesign makes it easier to understand your data. Additionally, you can modify your dashboards to show the desired information by clicking on the “Design” button, then selecting the format you want your charts to be displayed with.
Embedded Pivot Tables
You can now analyze your data with pivot tables without having to export your data to a spreadsheet. By clicking “My Pivot View,” you can work directly within the ERP to unlock insights about your information and make faster, informed decisions.
Automate Workflows with AI
Acumatica’s AI just got a brand-new feature. Connect your preferred LLM tool to the ERP to automate tasks, all by providing descriptions in natural language queries. To free your team from routine tasks that can be handled by AI, simply describe the action you want the ERP to take, like writing item descriptions or generating case notes. Then, once you click “test prompt,” you can review how the AI tool understood your prompt and tweak it as needed. This helps your business optimize your time for more complex tasks.
Project Variances Alerts to Find Errors
Empower your team to act quickly before issues arise. In Acumatica’s newest update, you can navigate to Project Variance to see how planned values are squaring up against actual performance to ensure that you are on target. The system will automatically sort and attach a color to each record within the project, so you can see where you have fallen off track. This helps your business understand what exact line entries are causing issues. Then, you can fix any problems before they get worse.
