3 Tools Within Microsoft Dynamics to Drive Sales

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is designed to help users drive their sales and increase their productivity. Microsoft has several features to help users cut down on repetitive tasks and stay on top of each of their clients- no matter their size. In this blog, we will cover three tools that you should be using in Microsoft Dynamics to increase your sales and improve your client satisfaction.

“Suggested Actions” Tool

Dynamics 365 Sales has evolved to become an active partner in the sales process, rather than just a database. With workflow and suggested-action functionality embedded directly into the opportunity and leads records, sellers now receive prompts that guide them to what to do next. This includes scheduling follow up calls, reaching out to a stalled contact, and more. The system now monitors deal stages, recent activity, and risk indicators to help come up with best steps, rather than having the salesperson try to stay on top of it all. This means less deals slipping through the cracks.

New User Interface Design

The new Hierarchy Control in Dynamics 365 Sales gives sellers a clear, visual map of complex customer relationships, making it far easier to spot opportunities or risks that would otherwise stay hidden in separate records. Instead of treating each account, contact, or opportunity as an isolated file, the hierarchy view presents them in a connected structure, allowing sellers to quickly see shared decision makers, linked projects, and activity happening across regions or teams. This new layout lets users update and view records directly from the visualization tool, helping salespeople act faster and more strategically.

Sales Research Agent

Microsoft has placed AI-driven assistants at the heart of the sales process to help make users more productive. To get a better understanding of your business and its current sales, you can now utilize the “Sales Research Agent.” This tool lets you type prompts into your CRM and get back reports about your desired information. This includes “assess current sales execution,” or “review territory distribution.” Then, the CRM will pull together the desired data, create visualization tools, and summarize what you need to know instantly. The tool also comes up with a plan to create changes in your sales and to generate growth.
