The client is a trade organization that are looking to handle their finances via Business Central.
The Opportunity
The Client was looking to implement Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to support business processes and address the unique financial business requirements of the client. Special focus given to transitioning Accounts Payable and Expenses, as well as tracking fixed assets within the ERP.
The Solution
The following steps were taken to successfully implement Business Central as the Client’s official ERP system. Logan experts assisted the clients in implementing Business Central through the Logan methodology. This included scoping, training users, and design sessions.
After design, Logan built out the customer facing documents, including the income statement and the balance sheet. Logan assisted the client in the conference room pilot to ensure that users are trained on the ERP and that the ERP fully meets the Clients needs.
The Results
Logan assisted the client in successfully improving their finances and overall efficiency in their business. Business Central additionally added visibility in vendor invoices, fixed assets, general ledger, and more.

The implementation of Business Central provided greater visibility into vendor invoices, fixed assets, and general ledger transactions. The ERP streamlined payment processing, allowing the client to generate payments directly within Business Central, while automating the depreciation process through Business Central’s fixed assets module. This reduces manual efforts and ensures accuracy. Lastly, integration with Business central enhanced data integration by using configuration packages to load expense and vendor invoice data from the client’s third-party system, facilitating seamless financial reporting.
With these improvements, the client can now manage its financial operations with greater accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
