Are My Priorities in Order? – Deep Dive into Priority Based Planning using Planning Optimization

This session reviewed the priority-based planning that comes with the Planning Optimization. The session covered the configuration of priority-based planning, practical uses of the functionality, and additional features that can be used once the feature is enabled.
Streamline Ad Hoc Business Processes Using Case Management in D365 for Finance and Supply Chain Management
Logan Consulting speaker: Kevin Gallagher
D365 offers functionality to configure custom, activity-based processes to handle ad-hoc scenarios that cannot be satisfied with other modules. Session attendees learned about the highly configurable setup of Case Management. Users also experienced a demonstration of case usage in the distribution industry, with a focus on customer return management.
Utilize Ledger Allocation Rules in D365 to Automatically Distribute Balances between Ledger Accounts
Logan Consulting speaker: Chris Rusing
This session showed how you can utilize ledger allocation basis and ledger allocation rules to maximize your allocations in D365. Rusing covered how an end user used statistical account entries as the allocation basis for their allocation rules. He also discussed challenges and solutions when implementing this functionality.
Soft Reservation Functionality with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Inventory Visibility

In this session, attendees explored how Microsoft Dynamics 365 Inventory Visibility enhances inventory management through Soft Reservations. Andrew Beck covered the basics of inventory visibility, Soft Reservations, and demonstrated their practical application. Attendees learned how to efficiently create, manage, and modify Soft Reservations to optimize inventory allocation and meet customer demands effectively.
Driving Accurate Inventory Planning with MRP/MPS and Stockkeeping Units (SKUs) in Business Central
Logan Consulting speaker: Brent Stabiner
Business Central has functionality that can allow for more automated decision making when it comes to inventory purchasing and planning. This session covered how to set up Items and Stockkeeping Units with replenishment configurations that will facilitate the use of MRP and MPS. Once the setup was complete, the session covered how to utilize the Planning and Requisition Worksheets to provide accurate data to help make purchasing, assembly, and manufacturing decisions.
