The client operates a grocery store chain with over 100 locations in the states of Wisconsin and Illinois. It is privately held and has sales revenue of over $1 billion annually.

 

The Opportunity

There was a need to take their resalable process off their legacy system and implement into Microsoft Dynamics AX. The move made sense as they had already been live on the financial modules in AX. Between the inventory and warehouse management, procurement and sourcing and sales and marketing modules, AX was very equipped to handle their needs.

 

The Solution

The client selected Logan Consulting to assist them in this project. Logan Consulting followed their proven methodology to ensure their expectations were met. After a thorough scoping phase, Logan Consulting implemented three new modules: inventory and warehouse management, procurement and sourcing and also the sales and marketing module. They also increased use of the functionality in accounts receivable and accounts payable. Additional users were added and trained on the new processes.
