NotesCount Customization for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.

I came across a really cool (and simple) customization for CRM 4.0. Users can’t tell at a glance if there is a note and/or attachment on a record just by viewing the record. You have to click on the Notes tab to see if there are any notes entered. This customization is a client side Jscript, which enables users to see how many notes or attachments are on any CRM record (contact, account, etc.). The count displays on the label of the notes tab. The code can be found on http://notescount.codeplex.com/
