Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Analyzer App

Microsoft announced today the release of the Business Analyzer for Windows Phone 8 for Microsoft Dynamics GP. This release further enhances the reporting capability of Microsoft Dynamics GP. Microsoft has now deployed a web client, a Windows 8 app and a Windows Phone app for Dynamics GP. In addition, Office 365 dashboard templates are available which I will discuss in an upcoming post.
I downloaded the app to my Windows Phone to check it out and it worked great. I was able to enter my basic credentials for our demo environment and immediately connect and see the dashboards on my Windows Phone. I had immediate access to dashboards regarding inventory accuracy, sales, purchasing, finance and manufacturing. I could see who the top customers and suppliers were, look at inventory on hand and see how well we were collecting our cash.
We have talked and blogged about the great reporting functionality of Microsoft Dynamics GP for many years, but the addition of these Windows 8 and Windows Phone apps adds another layer of access to your data. These apps allow remote users access to Dynamics GP data WITHOUT them being a full Dynamics GP user.
