Information regarding the new release of Microsoft Dynamics GP is continuing to come out. For those of you who don’t already know it will be called Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010. Yes, that will be the official name of the release. Here are some highlights about new functionality.
The Action Panes will allow you to connect to multiple data sources for enhanced reporting.
Template Forms from Word will be available for output from GP. (Don’t worry the Report and Crystal options are still available so you won’t have to redo all of your current forms)
There will be several “out-of-the-box” workflow rules, including employee onboarding and employee termination.
Better dashboards will be available and they will include drilldown functionality.
