Microsoft CRM or XRM?

Posted on: June 8, 2012 | By: SuperUser Account | Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Over the past few weeks we have had several conversations with clients and prospects who are interested in Microsoft CRM. However, they are also interested in what is referred to as XRM. XRM is the idea of using Microsoft CRM to help manage relationships with something other than a customer or client. Essentially Microsoft CRM can be used to manage anything where data needs to be tracked, activities are assigned to resources and workflow rules would help in driving the business process. Logan Consulting is a Chicago based Microsoft CRM Partner and Reseller and we have used Microsoft CRM to help companies manage focus groups, track data for healthcare recipients and manage contact with media outlets.

The true value of using Microsoft CRM as an XRM system is that it can be a useful tool in driving a business process. Today companies often have processes or tasks that require follow-up and delivering that service or follow-up is often a critical piece of company success. People demand a high-level of service today and Microsoft CRM can be used as a tool to drive a process to ensure that service is delivered.

We have recently had prospects interested in managing travel plans and fund management for financial planners all using Microsoft CRM. So if you need to manage a process or information Microsoft CRM is an excellent solution to consider and Logan Consulting, a Chicago based Microsoft CRM Partner and Reseller, has the expertise to help you.
