Microsoft CRM December 2012 Update to be Released

Posted on: November 12, 2012 | By: SuperUser Account | Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft will release the long awaited Polaris update soon. It is due to be released in December, but no official date was given. The release will officially be called the December 2012 Service Update. The main feature of this update that people have been waiting for is cross browser compatibility. The initial release will be available for Microsoft CRM online customers only. Customers with on-premises deployments of Microsoft CRM will have to wait until June of 2013 to get the update.

Another major piece of the release will be the opportunity to use a new user interface. This interface will be a much “flatter” interface reducing clicks and surfacing more useful information to the user. However, users will not be forced to adopt this interface.
