Microsoft CRM 2016's Spring Update Announced!

Posted on: March 2, 2016 | By: Craig Thompson | Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft just recently announced the timely and much anticipated update of Microsoft CRM 2016 Online. Back in November, when Dynamics CRM 2016 was first released, Microsoft hinted at more to come with their recent acquisitions of Adxstudio and FieldOne and we've already began to see the improvements that Adxstudio has brought. FieldOne however, has remained relatively unnoticed and Microsoft has worked very hard to change this. With this upgrade, users will now have enhanced abilities in portal solutions and field services to get users the results they want.

Organizations can schedule, manage and deliver onsite service, whether it be supporting countless customers in a single day or more complex multi-day projects through CRM's service delivery foundation. This upgrade pushes Microsoft CRM ahead of its competitors as there is nothing else quite like it out on the market to support this sort of self-assisted, on-site service. Stay tuned after the release for more details, but for now, below are some of our favorite anticipated features.

  • Portal Solutions: Better connect with your customers, partners, and employees within a singular streamlined portal to allow everyone access to the information, assistance and tasks that they need. Portals for these communities are powered with the same data and processes in traditional CRM, making it easy for everyone to grasp. Configure the amount of information accessed by these groups and enable a more coordinated stream of communication through one single and consistent voice.
  • Guided Navigation: Personalize your Dynamics CRM experience with new guided tasks and support customized to fit each individual user. Role-based and contextual, onboarding new application users has been made even simpler to help you increase productivity and get the job done.
  • Adaptive Learning: Powered by Azure, users are able to customize sentiment scoring models and “teach” their system to reach higher precision. Adjust your CRM to reflect the language of your community to accurately reflect positive/negative results in your comments.
  • Automated Triage: Microsoft Social Engagement now has the ability to detect intention within social media posts to route them as cases or leads automatically into Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Say goodbye to manually searching for leads or feedback, now sales teams can focus their attention in ways that can boost your profits with ease.

These are just a few of the exciting new features to come with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 Online upgrade so stay tuned for what is sure to come!
