Enterprise Financial Considerations / MWUG – March 2012

Today I am attending the Winter MWUG conference in Dearborn. In conversations with the user community, it seems that companies are still a little unclear on if they should include EE Financials in the upgrade plans. While the Standard Edition version will begin the sun setting clock beginning in 2015, the move to enterprise edition may be considered sooner if your organization is faced with the following:
• Your company has a many site global presence.
• Your company desires to manage customers and suppliers at a global level.
• Your company desires to have a global chart of accounts maintained and controlled by single organizations.
• You company has experienced negative results from the last few internal audits around financial controls.
These are substantive considerations for considering Enterprise Financials as an upgrade option.
