Convergence 2014 – Day 1
Posted on: March 6, 2014 | By: Jarrod Kraemer | Microsoft Dynamics AX/365
Well another Microsoft Dynamics Convergence is underway! Now in its 18th year, Convergence has grown and evolved from an event for 100 of the early adopters of Microsoft Dynamics, to the event of today, projected to host 12,000 customers, partners, team members and influencers who invest their time and energy on any of the five Microsoft Dynamics solutions.
Customers (and Partners like us) who keep coming back year after year say that the place that they gain the most value during the event is at the sessions: diving into functionality details, gathering best practices, gaining new operational efficiencies, and increasing their product expertise.
I for one will be participating in the Microsoft Dynamics AX track. It is for IT and business professionals to explore Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 industry and functional capabilities, mobile user experiences and cloud services. Whether you are an existing customer or a business considering Microsoft Dynamics AX, you will have the opportunity to see first-hand how you and your organization can maximize the value of your Microsoft Dynamics AX and other Microsoft technology investments.
And I’m certainly not going to miss the opportunity to learn about the exciting new capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3!
I’m also very excited to show our customers all of the new functionality and ISV products in the EXPO. In addition be able to network, share best practices, etc. It’s a great place to meet the Microsoft Dynamics AX team and mingle with the AX community.
On day one, Lachlan Cash and Mathew Sheard did a great job giving a Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 overview. It was liking drinking from a fire hose though…lots of great new features and functionality. They gave us an overview of the solution's functional and industry capabilities, including the latest product updates in R3.
