2 New and Improved Workflow Features in Microsoft Dynamics GP

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 R2, released earlier this year, focused on increasing speed and improving ease of use. With this focus, two new and improved workflow features have been added to the system.
Workflow – Payables Transaction Approval
When the payables transaction approval workflow is marked active you will now have the ability to submit and approve transactions in a multitude of ways. You can submit and approve with the payables transaction entry window, through e-mail notification and navigation lists as well as in the PM batch approval workflow that was used prior to this update.
Workflow – Document Attachment
With the Microsoft Dynamics GP attachment feature, you can add documents to transactions or records and then send this information out with a workflow task notification email. For example, you can enter an invoice, scan it, attach the record from the vendor and then submit this invoice with documentation for approval.
