Functional Training End Game: The goal of the training is to develop an understanding of the fundamental business concepts related to manufacturing, how these concepts relate to ERP, and specifically how they are handled within QAD Enterprise Applications. The sessions will first focus on general business processes (e.g. Master Scheduling) to ensure all participants understand the value they provide to the business and best practices for delivering such processes.

Technical Training End Game: The goal of the technical training is to provide a broad overview of the functionality in the QAD eCommerce module so attendees can gain a better understanding of the benefits this module provides. The training will focus on how eCommerce can be used as an EDI tool across varying environments and industries. It is important to note that this training is designed to be a high-level insight into the module, providing knowledge of the inner workings and how it can benefit ones business. It is not intended to be a deep-dive or to develop subject matter expertise.

Deploying Segregation of Duties (SOD) Along With Role-Based Security to Ensure SOX Compliance

Description: This session will discuss business and key configuration requirements as well as deployment recommendations for SOD functionality within QAD. Additionally, this session will discuss the SOD conflict matrix, SOD conflict exceptions and SOD mitigating controls that will be required based on your organizational resource mix.

Customer Case Study: SE to EE Upgrade

Description: Inventus Power recently completed a project to replace all existing QAD 2011SE functionality with the comparable functions in QAD 2016EE. The scope involved a re-design and re-implementation of financial functionality and supporting master data. Non-financial processes were implemented as close to ‘as is’ as possible. The project was completed on time and on budget and the company now has a core model it can leverage for other sites/locations. This session summarizing the upgrade project, including key activities and lessons learned.
