We were preparing for a demo over the last few days and a question came up about contact information. The issue was sending an email to the contacts in your CRM database and asking them to update their information and then click a submit type button to send it back.
I am sure many of you have received an email from someone cleaning up their contact database. The email states "please go to this link and enter your updated information...." The question is "Can Microsoft CRM handle this?
Of course, the answer is Yes! You can use a solution from Exact Target that is completely integrated to Microsoft CRM. A person in your contact list would go to a site update the information and the results would automatically be updated in Microsoft CRM.
Even better, you would not have to send the request to all the contacts in Microsoft CRM database. You could use Microsoft CRM to choose certain contacts based upon specific criteria you specify.
I thought it was another good example of the power of the tools Microsoft CRM has to offer!
