Anacapa Island

If you are looking to save vacation time for the holidays but need something refreshing and stress-free as summer ends, look no further than the Channel Islands. The islands are a luxurious place where your ERP system is easy to learn and use, actively alerts you with trends, can flexibly adapt to change and is always up to date. If you haven’t noticed yet, this isn’'t a destination where you’’ll have to pack your bags, because the channel islands are accessible anywhere, from any device, with QAD software.

The Channel Islands are a QAD initiative named after the 4 islands visible from QAD’’s headquarters in Santa Barbara. With this initiative, QAD will implement 4 phases, each with the goal of creating a better, more interactive, and customized cloud ERP for the user.

The first part of this phase which will be released in fall 2015 is called Anacapa. Anacapa’’s goal is to provide a customized and simplified view of information for the user, while still keeping each unique consumer in mind.

Anacapa will include features such as:

Live Activity Feed : Picture a feed like facebook or twitter providing real-time updates made from your co-workers working within QAD.

Sales order: Single form, easy to navigate, personalized view of sales orders, with an option for mouse-less entry.

Access: Decision makers (such as VP Sales, sales managers, purchasing managers) will be provided access to relevant QAD applications allowing them the ability to see key information and respond quickly to important requests.

With these new and improved updates, users will be able to support decisions quickly and accurately with a simplified and customized view of information: and what ERP user wouldn’t want that?  Yet, this is only the beginning. Within the following year QAD hopes to release three more “islands”, each with the end goal of enhancing a user’s experience further.
