QAD Enterprise Asset Management Provides Excellent Non-inventory Purchasing Solution

QAD’s Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is a tightly integrated group of modules supporting Maintenance, Inventory Management for indirect material, Project Controls, and Purchasing.
EAM’s Purchasing functionality can be used to create and maintain requisitions and approvals for non-inventory items. The functionality supports both vertical and horizontal approvals and email notification of approvals and approval requests within EAM and integrated with external corporate email systems. Upon approval, the PO is created in QAD EE and efficiently integrated into the Purchase Order Receipt and Accounts Payable processes.
QAD R&D is working toward mobile app functionality which would potentially allow requestors and approvers to work outside the QAD EE ERP application as EAM requisition users only.
QAD has done an excellent job of moving EAM functionality to the same UI as QAD EE. Now a user can have a single sign on to QAD EE and EAM, with all menus and options within the same standard QAD EE UI. The integration has been improved since earlier versions and will continue to improve with future releases.
